Jane Thompson has turned a once-neglected conservatory into a tranquil retreat.

What was once a rarely-used storage space has been transformed into a daily sanctuary, revamping the homeowner’s routine and enhancing her quality of life.

Before the installation, the conservatory was used only a handful of times each year, largely due to extreme temperature fluctuations. 

“It wasn’t nice to be in there when it was too cold or too hot outside, so we mainly used it for storage for a long time,” mother-of-two Jane Thompson explained. 

The conservatory had effectively become a “storage graveyard,” offering little functional value to the home.

Then Jane and her husband, Michael Thompson, found CI Group’s innovative insulation, which reduces up to 90 per cent of heat loss through the roof.

“We hadn’t thought much about insulation before,” Jane, 67, shared, “but we saw an advert on the TV for CI Group that interested us.

“We had been having a couple of problems with the roof in the conservatory anyway and thought it would be good to do something about how cold it would get in there whilst we were sorting that out.”

The installation was quick and easy, and the results have been just as transformational for the couple’s daily life as they have been for their home.

Jane said: “We’re in the conservatory every day now, without fail. We have some lovely bamboo garden furniture in there and we sit and listen to music with a cup of tea, just looking out into the garden. It’s very peaceful.” 

While Jane is hopeful about the monetary value the newly insulated conservatory will add to her house, she has already been impressed by the personal value it has added to her life.

“We really couldn’t use the space before, but now, we’re in there every day, and it has completely changed our routine for the better,” she added.

After seeing the TV advert, Jane contacted CI Group and was guided through the process by a friendly representative.
